Anthony Herrera shares his life's biggest mistake

Here is the quote. Sorry for the bad linkage:

My biggest regret was going to the University of Tennessee. The head coach, Phillip Fulmer, is a very two-faced guy. The side you saw out of him through recruiting wasn't the side that you saw once you got there. He wasn't a molder of men. He was just a politician, trying to work his way through. I thought about leaving, but my teammates, being there for the team, is what kept me there.

Just a politican, might explain why it was so hard to get rid of him. It doesn't surprise me if its true.

Interesting, although it does seem to fall contrary to the opinions of the majority of Fulmer's former players.

The worst advice? Go to the University of Tennessee.
If I could change one thing about my life, I wouldn't have gone to the University of Tennessee.

Dang.

Obviously some kind of bad experience. On the other hand there have been lots of players, including many still at UT, that would vehemently disagree.

Still sorry he feels that way but :dunno:

Sounds like his beef is moreso with FCPF than UT.

well he sure does throw out UT's name alot....also I am almost positive that he knows Fulmer is gone. Wouldn't he said "I wouldn't play for a Fulmer coached team" or something of that regard. I would really like to know what his beef is. This is the first and only negative account from a player about FCPF I have ever read.
