In tonight's primetime game,MN/GB, Anthony Herrera introduces himself followed by saying he's from "The Real UT." He's done this a couple times this season, and it gives me chills every time I hear it, and a sense of pride. That he still thinks highly of the program after all the turmoil of late. Come on guys, we might have lost some tough ones lately, but atleast we didn't lose to Iowa State! On a side note, on both teams there are atleast 3 starting offensive linemen. Sure wish we some of those guys, but atleast they don't say they're from the "Culinary Academy" like Jared Allen!

should he lie or just not be proud of where he is from?

I know that this isn't the NFL forum but Chad Clifton is dominating Jared Allen tonight. Can't wait to see our freshmen OLs mature and represent the real UT

I always liked Herrera when he was at UT. Watching this game is very cool, considering the fact that there are 3 former UT linemen in this game: Clifton and Wells for the Packers and Herrera for the Vikings.

Good point. However, the kind of season we are having is to be expected. Did anyone expect Texas to go from playing for a natty to losing to multiple unranked opponents? I'd say that's considerably more a let down than our season has been thus far.
