Who gives a rip if they're all religious? News flash, if religious holidays are that important, you can keep yer kids home. I just thought it was funny that any perceived slight (even by mother nature) is extrapolated out to be a liberal "war on:" <insert exclusive conservative value here>
It snowed.

What does this have to do with religion? Thanks for playing along.
I'm not the one trying to prove the world is warmer today than it was millions of years ago. Therefore, the burden of proof is not on me.
I get that but trend data that is 20 years old doesn't seem like the primary paper I'd cite to make the point. At a minimum I wouldn't suggest a trend that was last measured 20 years ago is what the trend is now unless I also cited recent studies to draw that conclusion.
If you are suggesting more research is needed, welcome to the ranks of the money-grubbing leftist conspirators.
I'm suggesting that those writing a blog to debunk "denier" myths should use the most up to date information. :hi:
I'm also not buying the money angle.
I'm assuming the temperature data is being collected in an ongoing fashion and the research involves taking said data and analyzing it. If that's the case then the data should be available for analysis and publication without significant additional cost.
If the temperature data is not being collected in an ongoing fashion then 20 year old data hardly constitutes a valid source for current trend conclusions.
So inconvenience every parent in the school system by lengthening the day for a month, or simply go to school on good Friday?
Clearly this is a liberal conspiracy.
It's getting warmer? Faster? Really?

point of order. No one denies climate change. The debate is whether or not man's activities are causing significant and long-term damage to the climate.
Again, you are looking at a smaller window of time than what is defined as climate. Bigger picture (and from a better source):

I won't embed it because it is large.
skins, what sort of situation or information would change your mind about climate change?

Just one piece of information-any point in the Earth's history when climate wasn't changing.
VolsNskins is saying there has been no warming for the last 10 years, thus no climate change. That is someone.
MG, what would it take for you to change your mind that man's activities are not causing significant and long-term changes to climate?
Sorry, let me draw a picture for you. Start earlier in the calendar year or finish later in the year. I know that would shorten your tax payer funded vacation but it's an alternative.
