Thanks for the links - since the last link is the most recent study I would think that reference should be used.
Further, I cannot not tell from the last link whether the difference between Antarctic annual rise and rest of oceans remains at 1.7 vs 1.0. Can you find that in the articles (I'm asking for assistance; not challenging you)
What's wrong with presenting best available data if it supports the point being made?
I flat refuse to run E85 in my vehicle. I just can't justify losing 5 MPG at only 10 cents a gallon cheaper.
That's so easy to say. Climate Always changes!
Not at this rate it doesn't. And not with humans having to live in it.
I encourage you to watch "Chasing Ice." It's on Netflix. The guy set up timelapse cameras for ten years in Greenland. . . And you can just see ice melt like rivers. It's disturbing.
The same thing is now happening in Antarctica. Lowlying lands like Bangladesh are already sinking . . .
Here's the thing: It's too late to stop the melting. That's a done deal. We're stuck with what's happening. Now we've got to do something about it and try to stop it from getting worse.
In short, what's done is done. We're already screwed for the next 100 hundred years. You can't stop the melt. We can try to mitigate the damage.

Just a few of many. The theory of man-made global warming is not a consenus theory. While global warming is accepted, the man-made aspect is not.
How is arguing about consensus (falsely, I might add) a rebuttal of the scientific evidence?
Are you positing that the warming is not due to CO2, or that the CO2 isn't from humans?
Separate question- how come you've never chimed in about the warming being real before, and let folks carry on arguing that there is no warming? There is such a discussion going on right now in the global warming thread, where some are claiming that the temperature data is rigged. You are saying it isn't. Come on over and explain it to them. Or is this just about being contrary?
I am arguing about it being man-made. I agree that global warming is happening but that it is naturally occurring.
So we know exactly how weather behaved 20k years ago? Or 10 million years ago?
All we can do is examine the evidence and decide that reality is probably closer to X than Y, X being human-caused global warming, evolution, an old earth, the finality of death, etc. and Y including such things as young-earth creationism, moon landing conspiracies, and Hell.
But yeah, keep up the hypocritical demands for absolute proof, as if your entire worldview isn't based on a mere hypothesis.
So why do you think they plan to take 3 holidays out that ALL happen to be religious? Why not go longer or start earlier?
Your arrogant outright dismissal of actual evidence places the burden on you.
Because while the overall ocean data has been updated, I don't think anyone has done the Antarctic warming rate compared to the world's oceans as both being original studies since that 1955-1995 series. It is the seminal work on the comparison, I guess. There have been individual studies of Antarctic warming since, for example: https://pangea.stanford.edu/research/Oceans/GES205/Gille_Science_Warming of the Southern Ocean.pdf
So that older paper with data only to 1995 is actually the most recent solely original study. The ones after it were adding on to it. And the reality is some of these papers reach a sort of celebrity status where they become "the" paper to cite.
I asked a question. Arrogance is your assumption you know what the hell I'm thinking.
FTR, I don't give a f$&# about global warming. I'll continue to burn a tank of fuel every 2 days by driving a pickup and let good liberals like yourself pick up the slack. However, in the last 3 years I've lived through one of, if not the hottest summers on record in the mid-South and two of the coldest winters on record in the mid-South. Sorry if I'm a little skeptical of global warming when it's -5 in March on the TN-AL border.
