I think someone (maybe AP, can't recall) mentioned they would be surprised if McCoy or Hobbs were available before UGA.

Will McCoy Dress.
No
Will Hobbs dress.
No
Will Kitselman play, if so, how much.
Good amount but will be involved a lot in blocking so may not appear a ton on stat sheet
Will Boo play, if so, how much and where?
That is a good question.
Who starts at center?
Sam Pendelton. I would assume Satterwhite to see some snaps late in the game, if we have a sizeable lead.
What 3 WR start and who is #4?
Mike, Staley, Brazell. 4th is Travis Smith.
Rotation of RB’s.
This will be fun thing all year long. Lets see if anyone runs away with it.
Do we use TE and RB much in passing game?
I would love to see that. I would love to see 2 TE and 2 RB for one snap just for fun.
Does JA Seem comfortable in pocket and on move?
Against Syracuse: Yes. But it will be interesting to see in SEC games where things get tighter.

All that can be answered by watching the game

I hope to see a lot of Ethan Davis in the pass game. I believe he will be a tough matchup in pass coverage for a lot of teams. Let Matthews and Brazzell take the top off and let Davis work the middle of the field.

With the lack of WR depth, the TE will have to be involved in the passing game. Plus, it adds another dimension to the passing attack. There are so many plays you can run out of a 2 TE set.

I wonder too how much they are going to hold back looking forward to UGA. I think if we control the line of scrimmage and have success running you will see a very boring offensive gameplan. No reason to let the Dawgs see what we have just yet.

I don't think we will learn much of anything until week 3. I'm thinking Saturday will be mostly conservative "ground and pound" while resting the weary. Just my opinion.

GBO
Two things I want to see.
1. Does JA understand the offensive schemes and can he execute at high rate.
2. Is the defense as good as some people think it will be?

I agree with this 100%.

I would say Boo plays very little against Syracuse, if at all. I think he might play a little nickel, might return a punt, but I'd be surprised to see him at safety unless the game is out of hand late or due to injury. If Heup (or any coach really) is explicitly asked if a guy will play and the response is "he'll be available," the evasiveness means he won't play much, if at all.

He should definitely be out there returning punts. Who knows? He might even take one back for a TD.

I believe Davis is considered more of a blocking TE than Kitselman. Watch for Brame (sp?) to develop into a pass-catching threat.

This is probably somewhere else but, I can't find it. 1) Can we win on the road against a non-top 20 team? 2) Are all the games on ESPN. ESPN+, ABC, FOX, SECN, SECN+, ACC Network viewable on my TV/Xfinity Comcast? 3) Will the dentist be successful in relieving my painful tooth by the weekend? 4) Does Aguilar come out and just play lights out scoring, running, thinking, playing. and not getting sacked or making too many errors/mistakes?

Most of those questions are the kind asked every year.

The key one is can Aguilar hit open receivers including a few deep shots. The success of the run game last year was a testimony to just how good the OL and RBs were. Nico really didn't hit enough deep shots or find open guys regularly enough to pull D's out of the box.

Doubtful but not impossible IMO

No

Yes, plenty

Yes, he is PR and gets some STAR snaps

Pendleton

Matthews and Staley seem locked in. AP was less confident in CB. Pretty clearly 2 up are the freshmen for sure

Bishop, Lewis, Thomas. Hopefully we see Morris with game in hand

I’m hopeful we don’t show any wrinkles until the UGA game

I think he will but that’s the biggest factor all season
