Looks like we are headed toward a head coach that 75% of Vol Nation doesn't recognize the name and has to read about them to know who they are. That is not a formula for success. Ala, Dooley and Jones. The administration is clueless, doesn't care, and is pissed off at the fans for upsetting the apple cart.

And.....
Eliminated their chances of a good hire with the botched attempt to hire a guy who covered up child rape.

I’d rather lose than have that POS representing my university

After what happened this past Sunday have no choice but go this route. I’m not sure any current coach will leave his job for this job at this time. We’re screwed

I am throwing in the towel. I don't care if they hire Daffy Duck at this point. How could a major University have such inept people running it?

Everytime we hire a coach I just imagine that scene from Jaws where they have the tiger shark strung up and Hooper says it's only a tiger shark and the guy goes "a whaaaaat?" That's how I feel when we hire a coach at Tennessee.

I'm trying to recall the reaction at Florida when Urban Meyer was hired.

Somehow I'd imagine that they weren't very happy about a guy who'd been a head coach for four years - two at Bowling Green and two at Utah - taking over.

If not for Tebow, Meyer would not have been successful... remember him trying to quit when Tebow left? Then was shamed into staying another year.

Relax fellas
Bright side: we are the absolute best at bad coaching hires.
Hmmm? How bout that? Hmmm?
That's something we win at hands down!

I hear were winning the award again this year!

Also we are #1 when it come to getting other coaches extensions and hefty wage increases.
Edit: How'd I forgot commentators May be the only team in history to get a commentator 2 extensions!

Nope, we were SUPER excited...We were scared he was gonna turn us down for Notre Dame, but he didn't, and we were giddy.
