Still can't figure out why he gets a pass by most on here. His defenses consistently played slow, because they weren't comfortable in the scheme.

Forget it? Are you kidding? Forget the past, and you're destined to repeat it. Not only should we not forget the jones era, but we should not forget the jones fan boys, their judgement, and their stupidity, year after year. If you see a post regarding UT Football, made by a jones fan boy, take it with a 100 grains of salt!

Not to get into another empty back and forth with you, but you really are delusional about our actual power. DEMAND IGNORE STOP EXCUSING...et al. None of what you rightly or wrongly observed of Dooley or Butch affected their tenure. It took BOTH losing their team for the powers that be to give them their walking papers. I didn’t personally come to that point with Butch until the UMass game and even after the total collapse the next week, the die wasn’t cast. Nothing YOU, I or ANYONE in the fanbase demands or expects will accelerate that timetable.
