I accept your premise that at least in some cases if guns are not available kooks will use another method -- however, you must then accept my premise that in those situations the great likelihood is that the perpetrator will be far less effective than if he had guns readily available.

Just read there were 100+ rifle casings found so far. Now, I don't know if any of those were law enforcement, sounds like they were all expended by the shooter. 100 rounds, each of them potentially lethal, in minutes if not seconds. Sorry, but you are going to lose this lethality debate, and you know it.

well, and this was Minnesota. which has pretty tight gun laws already. which just goes to show they don't work.

I found two sources which placed them in the Top 15 of gun control laws.

-Red Flag Laws failed.
-Gun Free zone failed.
-laws against violence/murder failed.

probably a couple dozen other gun laws that were broken. at some they have to admit what they are trying isn't working, and they need to try something different.

Just watching all the crazies here from a distance, its always the same ones. Its always the ones talking about how illegals are treated poorly, or how woman can have a penis and an adam's apple, and orange man bad, and how living in mom's basement is so tough, and how da pootin died of cancer for the 8th time, and how wearing a double face diaper is going to protect them from a virus, or how if we had gun laws like in Mexico it would magically work better here than in Mexico, etc.

Part of issue is you have a large portion of the population that actually encourages the insane bizarre behavior and when these people act, they actually treat the person doing the abusing like the victim. Many of them have been programmed, and can't reprogrammed. Look at LG, its like automatic that he is going to start a threat on disarming people as soon as news hits. He can't help himself.

Simple solution here, lots of people should be locked up as they are a danger to themselves or others, and as I have said before you have about 5-10 people on this forum that would fit the bill.
