You do know that Timothy McVeigh didn’t use a gun. Based on the manifestos they left behind, they wanted to create mayhem, and would have found something if not a gun. In Europe we’ve seen mass casualties from “knives” which are really swords but we can’t say that.

So "trans" regret was eating this dude alive. He painted himself into a corner with the name change, hormones, cross dressing etc (maybe operations?) And felt like there was no way out. How do you show up one day and tell friends/family/school "nevermind the woman thing ive been doing for over 5 years. I am a dude again." ???

I wonder what medications and hormones he was on? Mental illness, regret, and desperation are the real problem here. Not guns for Pete's sake. Sounds a WHOLE lot like the Nashville shooter.

This is, and always has been, the absolute dumbest argument the pro-gun crowd has ever put out there. Of course you can kill with a knife or a sword. You can kill by hitting people with bricks. You can strangle them.

But the RATE with which one can kill with firearms is much, much, much faster than these other methods. Kids in a church/school cannot run away nearly es effectively from someone armed to the teeth with firearms, versus a guy with a knife.
