Another school shooting

This one with a bit of a twist however, a female shooter!

The Los Angeles Fire Department says a 15-year-old boy shot in a middle school classroom has been transported to a trauma center in critical condition.

A department statement says a 15-year-old girl with a gunshot wound has been transported in fair condition Thursday morning.

A 30-year-old woman who had unspecified minor injuries but was not shot.

Police have arrested a female student suspect and recovered a gun.

The shooting was reported around 9 a.m. at Sal Castro Middle School near downtown.

It’s definitely going to be an interesting narrative if she’s also Hispanic/ a “dreamer” or whatever.

Here are a few examples of female school shooters. In 1979, 16-year-old Brenda Spencer committed a sniper attack at Cleveland Elementary School in San Diego. In 1988, Laurie Dann, age 30, shot young children in Hubbard Woods Elementary School in Winnetka, Illinois. At Penn State University in 1996, 19-year-old Jillian Spencer, who was trained in the Army Reserve as a sharpshooter, opened fire on random students. Latina Williams, a 23-year-old nursing student at Louisiana Technical Institute, killed two classmates in 2008. Finally, in 2010, Professor Amy Bishop shot six colleagues in the biology department at the University of Alabama.
