Another reason Hamilton should be fired!!!!

I do not care who we play in a bowl game. It gives our younger players more practice time and gives us an opportunity to be 7-6 this year. Having said that Hamilton still needs to be fired!

Agrees to play North Carolina in a trivial bowl, which occurs nine months earlier than a scheduled game that he payed several hundred thousand dollars to buy out. This is almost as egregious as the extension of Fulmer's contract, one year befor he fired him.:banghead2:

You do realize we are a bad 6-6 team and are only in a bowl to begin with because we beat up on a couple of scrubs in November? We're lucky to be playing a bowl period. My god.

we beat them in november while everyone else beat them in september and october ...its not our fault we play them at different times than the rest of the east division does. actually we are a good 6-6 team that could have been 7-5 or 8-4 real easy.

Hey guys we are going to a Bowl Game, a game which should almost be like a home game. I dont care that is the MCB bowl, heck after a 2-6 start we came real close to not going at all. I CANT WAIT, Nashville baby, and we are going to be rocking. Go big Orange

Glad it worked out for you and others that bought tickets!

Bet you thought you could tap into the hatred for Hammy and create an epic thread here....

You were wrong...

Be glad we are going to a bowl at all and hush...

Nashville is a heck of alot better than where the Temple Owls (8-4) will be playing.

I agree! We paid alot of money NOT to play UNC next year and here we are! I guess it was our time to play them. Hamilton should have just sucked it up...there goes more money wasted....

Is it bad that someone not satisfied with a bowl game DOESN'T surprise me? We're lucky to be playing anyone this bowl season.

Can you get fired from the board for the most ridiculous post ever?

1. Fulmer's buyout was intentionally made large so he would not cry. It failed to keep him from crying and rallying his cronies to try to lie and whitewash his horrific failures and since he has tried to get rid of Hamilton while no serious programs have offered him a job. The BOT was not sad that he got the big buyout, they felt that he deserved it even though they agreed he had to be fired.

2. Dooley wanted the game bought out. Did not come from Hamilton's mind...Dooley also wanted that game bought out back when we sucked and Matt Simms was the QB. Bray is better, faster than anyone could have dreamed.

This is about as lame an excuse that I have ever seen. It is obvious that you have an agenda.
