Kamara is a Reggie Bush-type back--and Bush has had a productive but not great dual-threat career. I thought he'd retired but he actually played a little this past year (12 rushes, 7 catches), but at age 31, after an 11-year career, it seems like he's done.
Bush averaged 9.6 carries and 41 yards rushing per game over his career, for a 4.3 yard per carry average. 36 total TDs rushing. He only topped 1,000 yards rushing twice.
He averaged 7.5 catches per game for average of 27 yards receiving, with 18 total receiving TDs. He caught a lot of passes his first four years in the league.
He had a nice balance of catching with running, producing about 70 yards of offense (run and catch) per game in his career. That's pretty decent--and any back who can stick in the league for 11 years has done well and made a lot of money. Kamara should want to be used the same way--lots of pass catching, not a huge amount of running. He will want to be utitlized as Bush as been, balanced ratio of runs and catches--it will extend his career. And I'm sure that's what the team that drafts him will do.
