Ok I thought we could use a break from the coach talk. My daughter is expecting our first grandchild and its a boy. She has decided to name him "Peyton". :dance2: So look out recruiters for 2030.

GO VOLS !! Its still great to be a Tennessee Vol.

Congrats! :) I am expecting my first child in January (daughter). My wife vetoed the name Peyton. I think I am going to fire her and hire Gruden.

Just ask her if she would mind naming him 'Chuckie'. Peyton will sound pretty appealing after that. :birgits_giggle:

Yeah, my wife vetoed the names I had selected for our first son... but I thought "P.G.T. Beauregard ______" wound be a great historical name for my first boy. Alas, Robin told me, "No, not historical... histerical..." Anyway, my prayers for whose who are having children and grandchildren... that all will go well and the babies will be born healthy and well. ><>

Congratulations.... my son's former high school classmate in Arizona named her daughter Peyton Manning (then the last name). My son proudly sports his orange on Saturday in Manhattan, KS in the middle of all that Kansas State purple (lol)... And wouldn't you know it... when my grandson was born (up there in Kansas) my son put that baby in orange but named him Titan!!!! Now that's devotion to TN I tell ya!!!!! Congratulations again on another Peyton added to the legacy of famous names.....

We are a big time Vol / Titan fans family. My son is a Peyton Manning fan not a Colts fan and he's a Titans fan. We'll always be fans of Al Wilson but not the Broncos. Afterall I watched that young man grow up, and my mom once babysat his cute little self. So when we talk about Al we talk about the Vol Championship team he played for. Ahhhh, now those were the days.... Ah what sweetness it was seeing Alabama and Florida and SC hang their heads low as the seconds ticked off the clock...and they were losing!!!! GO VOLS!!!

Congrats to coach Gruden since in 18 years he will still be our coach. It's nice to know that he is already working on his future quarterbacks.

Titan? That should play well in middle school. Why not Bronco? :p
