He would be worthy the money would be there. He maybe crazy enough to do it. He takes risks and I could see him entertaining it....

No way, it took him 6 years to get SC turned around and at 67 I dont see him taking on another project like that. I do think TN could be turned around quicker but when he leaves USCe he'll retire to the golf course.

There is a guy working Monday Night Football. Everybody on the board just loves him. He has been anointed our savior. He has a 7 year 40 million dollar contract. Signed. Done deal. End thread.

Why anyone would want Steve Spurrier is beyond me.

He's old, he can't get USCjr over the hump, he's old, and he hates recruiting.

Did I mention he's old?

The only way you pry the OBC away from South Carolina is by relocating Augusta National to somewhere off Pellissippi Parkway. Ain't happenin'.

Joe Lee Dunn is younger, and interested.

A 21-37 Head Coaching record...granted some of that was as an interim bad situation, but if we didn't want Dooley with a losing record, why do we want this guy?

Now granted he seems to be a defensive genius (him and Charlie Stong with the 3-3-5)...and it is proven the the D wins the SEC...but I don't see what else Dunn would garner for us...:dunno:

I am screwing with y'all. Tired of all the speculation and not knowing who is next on the chopping block. Money and coaches are not going to jump at this Hc position. I am sorry but it is true.....it was time for CFP to go...the Kidd was smoke and mirrors and CDD was Hamiliton CBP type hire that went awry.....

I hope Gruden is looking for a job here but time well tell if rumors are true. I think Hart will have his hands full finding a replacement that is worthy of this job and is a SEC caliber coach that can recruit nationally. Plus assemble a staff of equal capability. Also, that is his intrigrity is beyond reproach. No coach will ever satisfy all of our fans without instant results. It's going to be interesting and if we don't let CDD go with class you can cut the coaching search in half.

Why?,the UT job would be a step down.

In a recent study conducted by Time Magazine....
over 75% of the University of South Carolina female cheerleader's have pubic lice, and zero national championships won in football.
