No, man, what I hate is that you've got the same thing going on there as in the rest of government. You'll have 15 military dudes to do the job of three, and then a team of 40 contractors behind them to help "support" those three jobs, then at the end of the day those three jobs get done shittily because you're trying to delegate tiny, incoherent pieces to 50 people. Let's not even get into how each branch just has to have their own version of everything, with its own development and costs.

The Federal Aviation Administration is cutting flights at 40 U.S. airports beginning Friday, Nov. 7, as air traffic controllers and TSA agents continue to go unpaid during the government shutdown.

So what vehicle (tariffs/go fund me?) could be collected by the airlines/airport that could directly be paid to TSA agents and Air Traffic controllers? There’s about 3m us passengers per day so $10 per passenger would cover the net pay per employee.

I have no way to know whether or to what extent politics is playing a role in the FAA cancelation of flights.

Its not a good look, however, for the head of the FAA to go on tv and blame Dems. Gives it an air of political influence. He should keep his trap shut. Same with the video Noem tried to put in the airports.

Do your job. Leave the politics to the elected yahoos.

The fact that BNA is not included in Top 40 but smaller airports in blue states are.....

You are correct, my mistake. The administration is ordering the states not to use federal taxpayer money to fully feed people.

He can say that since he is a political appointee. MAGA/Trump really wanted the civil servants to do the same. Only the low IQ morons did which we aren't allowed to do by law.
