If the Rs compromise on an extension it needs to be a 2 or 3 year extension. Otherwise the Ds will pull this same crap right before the mid-terms, it's a trap.

I wouldn't worry about who is going to do what to whom. It all falls on Trump's shoulders.
Both sides will attempt to take their pound of flesh sand spin it in opposite directions, He said she said.

We will hear about this daily until the mid terms are over and there will be plenty more fodder used by Democrats and Republicans to boast their cases.

Yes you did by stating overwhelming majority. Based on actual experience? Did you flunk out of Basic Training or get a DHD? I have no idea what Branch of Service you experienced but it makes no difference and I am calling you out. I guess you must have been in the majority as you see it.
Units I served in were first to fight and last out. You must be the guy they put on Point to be a Bullet Stopper.

I am not butthurt at all, just calling you out for a stupid statement of which you know nothing about evidently. I am already a Disabled Vet and it is not because of a brain injury.

You keep telling people to read your posts, maybe it is because you can't write what you are trying to state. You seem to use it as a crunch to avoid being brutally questioned about your statements.

Grow up and learn from experience and quite relying on your own misinterpretations or thoughts.
Deal with reality and not just what you conjure up in your brain. Take accountability for your own words.

Where's my experience come from? Sitting on the contractor side watching the military fund a $2B "weapons system" project to build something another branch already has, only to produce zero viable products purely because a bunch of chuckle**** officers needed something to make their "legacy". Sitting in a logistics function watching us order a bunch of XXL uniforms for the fat people that are unemployable elsewhere riding the military chain as far as they could. Watching family members get in and get saddled with bureaucratic ******** dreamed up by some officer and Congressman rather than honing their combat skills. I'll repeat it again, because I have current experience working in both- the military is virtually indistinguishable from civilian government in most of how it operates, with the exception that its lowest level people are paid like donkeys.

90%+ of the people in the military are non combat. Of those, I'd wager 3/4 are either doing obsolete jobs or nothing at all but painting rocks in a field. You want to know why enlistments are suffering and recruiting sucks? Because nobody thinks dying for the country in the same organizations that put some lardass that can't fire a gun into a position to ruin your life is worth it. Whether you like it or not, that's the military of 2025.

Good on you for serving in a combat role. That doesn't make you anywhere close to an expert- in fact, it probably makes you as far from an expert as possible. Other people are allowed to have opinions, especially when you can't even distinguish between "all" and "the majority of" because your wittle womanly feewings get in the way.

That's crap too. You really want to extend Biden administration spending for 2-3 more years? Leave the government shut down into 2026 for all I care.

Did you see where or to whom were headed to XXL uniforms, funny thing I had to buy my uniforms after initial issue. Try telling a better story.

This would make a lot more sense if it was written with better grammar and less butthurt, big timer. I'd also point out that you're putting on me several claims that I've never made.

Now, when you can prove to me I'm making up the non-combatant number, I'll take you seriously. Go ahead, dig around, see what you can find. When you can prove to me what I've said is "false", you can sling your mud.
