Let's play a little game. Name your two top targets for the recruiting class of 2012 and where you think Tennessee will fall in the rankings if these players are signed.

For giggles I'm going to include Rivals links.

Eddie Goldman - Eddie Goldman - Yahoo! Sports

Drae Bowles - Drae Bowles - Yahoo! Sports

Top 5 recruiting class with a lot, but not all, of the depth concerns addressed by this year's class.

Look at Goldman's offer list. He could be #1 in the nation and fills a huge position of need.

Which is why I'd love for him to wear orange. :loco:

I'm hoping that with LT now coaching the defensive line we'll have a better shot with him. LT is arguably the best recruiter on the staff.

Who at these services actually verifies whether a school has offered or not? Are they just taking the kid's word for it? I have wondered this before because I have seen more than one situation where a kid says (or thinks) he got offered by someone when he actually did not.

I wouldn't care except that I think there is some validity in who all is offering.

No shot at Goldman, none at all.

I really have my doubts on Dooley being able to bring in a 5 star talent.

1. Brian Kimbrow. We need a speed back very badly

2. Jonathan Taylor. Dooley went to the same HS as him. Plus he has a teammate James DeLoach who is pretty good. These 3 players are very important to next years class.

Obviously, any defensive tackle would be a huge pickup for the 2012 class. but right now, the two must-have recruits for the next class are Brian Kimbrow and Nick James. Speed and run-stopping gurth.

Is Bowles better than Kimbrow? I feel like I've heard more about Bowles, but Rivals raved about Kimbrow at re junior combine.

these would probably be my 2 as well.

Nick James, D.J. Humphries, Channing Ward, and Jordan Jenkins would be 4 others I really want.

I thought Dooley went to Clarke Central. Taylor, DeLoach, and Evans go to Jenkins County.
