Transitive or Associative?:lolabove::lolabove:

a=b b=c a=c

if fulmer is sold on clawson and clawson is sold on WR Coach than fulmer is sold on WR coach and we're sold on all of them.

Transitive.

Associative would have them adding and multiplying. And you don't want to multiply by the value of a Phil.

According to Richmond's media guide, Clawson favors a pro-style offense with a goal each season of producing a 1,000-yard rusher, a 1,000-yard receiver and a 3,000-yard passer.

this whole offensive staff, with the exception of adkins, will have no ties to ut. this is the most drastic coaching change i can remember in 20 years at ut. i for one am excited as hell.

So am I. This is all I really wanted to see from Fulmer. We still have a good program, we're still winning plenty of games and finishing in the national rankings. But it's gone stale, and it's because we're not taking in fresh ideas. We were turning into what Alabama became under DuBose and then Shula--you couldn't coach there unless you had ties to Alabama.

If Fulmer had dragged in someone who had ties to UT--bringing back Sanders, or Walt Harris or Daryl Dickey--I think I would have vomited. But we're getting a guy who's won everywhere he's been. There's a risk to hiring a 1-AA guy, but it's well worth taking. :good!:

im sure there were others out there, sec football is alot different than richmond spider football. im not knocking the guy cause i havent seem him coach yet, but hes in the big league now so heres a chance to prove himself

that's right, he will have to prove himself and i'm sure he knows that. gotta remember, this guy has taken schools that have nothing in their budget for athletics and made them winners. imo that's a helluva lot tougher situation than transitioning from small time to big time.
:thumbsup:

we shouldnt settle for nothing less than a SEC championship this coming year, we havent been so hot in championship games and bowl games since we won the first NC

I know. It happened right about the time when Cut was dallying with Duke. I appreciate what he did for our team in '85, but Daryl was a disaster as an assistant at Florida State.

I don't think Fulmer would have gone there. But Walt Harris scared me, even though Harris is friends with Johnny Majors. The fact he didn't look in that direction speaks well of Fulmer.

West Georgia? What's that?

A school that's.... you want to guess where? :p

J/K... I went there out of HS. Was D-II then.... small school, used to be prominent in the Gulf South Conference. We actually beat Georgia Southern the year before I arrived on campus. Won the GSC in 96-97... coach Fisher left and they went downhill.

this is exactly what so many vol fans have asked for. we are going to have someone as oc who is young and a proven winner wherever he has been. this whole offensive staff, with the exception of adkins, will have no ties to ut. this is the most drastic coaching change i can remember in 20 years at ut. i for one am excited as hell.

I like a coach with Goals. Usually when you set goals you set easily attainable goals. I do not care what level he has coached at. Just look at his Resume'. It speaks for itself. We have now added possibily two very stout recruitters in Drayton and in Scott. If we did not hire Coaches like Clawson who excelled at their level of Competition then Coach Bruce Pearl would never have been hired as the UT Basketball Coach. Clawson is a gem in the Rough and I think CPF is making a move towards opening up this Offense and his mindset by this hire.
