that's what he said. also, they are saying the job has been offered, not accepted. i don't know if they are trying to counteroffer or what. other sources in richmond say it has been accepted. one thing we know...clawson is fulmer's choice.

Clawson has called a meeting with coaches at 11am tomorrow and with the players at 3pm to presumably tell them, and I would expect the official introduction to come on Friday night or Saturday.

The introduction coming the same day as the big recruiting visit weekend... It's a shame he hasn't been able to look at any of the recruits' tape to tell them where they fit into his offense.

all i gotta say is i hope he can perform his magic in the big SEC or Fulmer just gave up a chance to score a big time OC and reuined UTs chances once again

That would be a big jump for that WR Coach. But I guess if Fulmer is sold on him, than so should we. If we're buying into this guy and he's sold on the other one... than shouldn't we buy into him? What was the formula for the Transitive Property of Coachoscity?

im sure there were others out there, sec football is alot different than richmond spider football. im not knocking the guy cause i havent seem him coach yet, but hes in the big league now so heres a chance to prove himself

this is exactly what so many vol fans have asked for. we are going to have someone as oc who is young and a proven winner wherever he has been. this whole offensive staff, with the exception of adkins, will have no ties to ut. this is the most drastic coaching change i can remember in 20 years at ut. i for one am excited as hell.
