Panthers DT Tyler Braton came off the bench and elbowed the Falcons gunner Chris Owens in the head during a play and received only a $15k fine.

A coach tripping a player in a similar fashion was a $25k fine and suspension for the rest of the year. Other hits to the head by players actually on the field are usually a lot more than $15k. Seems that this fine and no suspension is sort of weak for this kind of cheap shot.
