How about the truth!!!! Look at our schedule DorK!!! FU and the Tarheals. All Hammy wanted is to put off the series 1 year and the ACC celler dweller wouldn't move,their loss!!! Game would have helped their weak azz football program way more than ours. I'll take the Sooners and the Buckeyes and you can have those ACC chumps!! GO VOLS!!

Clemson, VT, West Va. would all be potentially great recruiting match-ups.

I would also love to see the old UT-GT rivalry more often

FWIW, I could be wrong but I believe he mentioned it would be someone we've played before. Now, that goes back a long way but if you think about it in more modern times I would lean toward VT, Miami, ND, Michigan, or A&M.

Tech and Clempson are much better opponents IMO. Getting an extra game in Georgia, and South Carolina would be great for recruiting purposes. More so than NC. A&M is the same way... They aren't as big am opponent as GT or Clemson, but getting into Texas for recruiting would be huge.


Its not like UNC is some huge power house team that competes for it's conference every year. When was the last time they won the ACC? 80 or 81?

I would hope for Miami or Florida State...that would be good for recruiting in talent rich Florida.

Its arguable that they are a stronger program than us, RIGHT NOW.

I doubt FSU would have Tennessee and Florida on their schedule.

I am leaning towards Michigan too...that would be SWEET!

FWIW this big headline game will be a home and home for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

Edit: 2037 and 2038 seasons, my bad.
