Another bad losing streak ended Saturday

going all the way back to 2006, we had lost 23 games on the road against ranked opponents.

that win was also at Georgia. we beat Alabama that year too, so hope that part of history repeats for us again this year! GBO!!!!! keep exorcising these decade long demons

The win last week vs Florida is still the bigger of the last two. That was huge. Butch had to exorcise that demon. Now he's won two in a row vs Ga.

Tennessee back to being a force in the SEC...like the good ole days when Fulmer was in his glory.

Kinda sucks that for as HUGE s these last two wins were this is truly a gauntlet. We still have two massive games ahead of us.

The SEC ain't easy that's for sure.

Thats pretty neat and I'm shocked it wasn't mentioned during the game, if it was I missed it. I only recall hearing that 2006 was our last win at Georgia.

Of course it is. Numerous armchair coaches on here would go 8-0 every year. Just read the other threads.

You know, I was thinking about that during Georgia's final drive.

Ol' Verne and Gary kept repeating "This is how legends are born" with each Eason completion.

Guess they didn't realize they were talking about the legend of Dobbs and Coach Jones :whistling:

GBO, baby! Five and O!!! Let's keep ending those streaks and set a new record for wins at UT!

I believe '06 is also the last time we beat a top 10 team on the road. Maybe we fox that this weekend
