another article smearing Peyton

I wonder what the 1994 incident was. If it took up 3 pages, and was redacted by Manning's representatives and agreed to by Naughright, it had to be of some significance. I suspect Manning and the doctor had a consensual relationship prior, which Manning may want to keep secret. This would also not look good for Naughright when she is trying to smear Peyton.

Maybe I'm reaching. Regardless though, this Shaun King guy is a tool.

Author is a racist...

And the opinions stated in the article come from a place of racism, jealousy and hate.

You can not take anything people like this say seriously because they are so blinded by hate.

Do you think the outcome of the Superbowl precipitated this article?

Don't know if the superbowl itself did or not.

But cam newton's actions afterward definitely did..

Trying to defend one person by tearing down another. Classic position of someone who can't really defend the first person at all.

These accusations and "truths" against Peyton and the Manning family are simply a part of an overall Slam of the UT football program. The six "Jane Does" who filed the suit against the UT football programwhether all true or not, make it seem as if these occurrences happen almost daily. One of the accusation involves a case (Mannings) that happened 22 years ago. While pretty gross, this is not a concurrent event. It seems to me that the timing of these claims(and they could all be true),is more to help stop a program from returning to a lofty peak.Coach Butch Jines was calles by some to resign as a result of these happenings. He removed A.J,michael, and von from the program as soon as the accusations came to light. He could do no more .This is where it appears to be a false slam on our football program. My thoughts only.

The good part about this article is that it points out that there are two sides to every story. Not only is King only relying on the hyperbole typically included in a plaintiff's complaint, he goes a step further and reads in his own assumptions.

Nobody really knows what happened twenty+ years ago in that locker room--we weren't there. Obviously, Manning did something very inappropriate. But, the trainer never filed criminal charges and it was settled in a manner that met her expectations. It is a hack attempt at journalism, and just amplifies the depths to which "reporting" has fallen to in this country.

And, as Travis points out, if that is all they can dig up, then he must have done a lot of things right since then.

Fwiw, The New York Daily News even ran an article which questioned the legitimacy of Shaun King's claim that he was born to a white mother and a black father, even openly wondering if he was the male version of Rachel Dolezal. The man listed on Shaun King's birth certificate as being his father is clearly white per a mug shot taken after an arrest but King claims that his mother was cheating with a "light skinned black man" and that his birth certificate shouldn't be trusted. The New York Daily News seemed all too eager to accept this crock of bull and even called this a "personal admission" that was also "touching". There is just so much wrong with The New York Daily News, in turn, letting this clown write this biased, melodramatic and racially tinged account of a 20 year old story... not the least of which involves Shaun King accusing someone else of living a lie.

Favorite quote from the Clay Travis article: "fake black guy Shaun King --he's white but has been pretending to be black for nearly 40 years" lol

I thought this was common knowledge? Peyton did do all of this. It was a long time ago when he was young though.

I think it is common knowledge to those who have followed Manning's career for a while. But not quite common knowledge to those who are fans of other teams or just football fans in general.

Didn't realize stories have to be repeated multiple times, each time with a different spin, so newer generations can lazily become aware of certain events.
