another article smearing Peyton

It matters if someone wants to challenge the public image of Manning being a wholesome role model. Not so much because he allegedly committed that act (being young and making a mistake sounds plausible), but because of the later cover-up.

So basically it means nothing. Gotcha. And the constant green font is kind of dumb. Occasional blue font is ok, but you're going overboard.

I never said the allegations were true. No one really knows at this point if the allegations are true...possibly because Manning got the records sealed and had pages redacted.

I'll just cancel you out and say the allegations are not true...possibly because Manning got the records sealed to protect the "so called victim"

Peyton and Eli screwed up in college. Guess what me too. His actions were inexcusable and dumb. Seems like he paid for it a long time ago. Moving on...

The inbred faction just can't wait to post some of their ignorant racist rants with zero fact checking, or a cognitive thought process. They go from zero to redneck at the first opportunity to bash others.

Calling other people inbred and misusing the word racist is the most laughable post in this thread, and that's saying a lot. It's funny to me that stupid people never realize they are stupid. So how many of those articles that he posted did you peruse? Last I checked no one denied something happened 20 years ago. The issue is what really happened and why is this bozo bring it up 20 years later? If you truly had any cognitive thought process yourself, you could have stayed on topic instead of beat your chest over someone else's flimsy work.

I have never understood looking up to athletes or celebrities as role models. When I was a kid, I never looked up to an athlete as a role model. Dont get me wrong, I love sports but an athlete has never done anything to make me look up to them as a role model.

Just a quick check of your profile you have stayed in the political forums through your short posting history. But the only football threads you have posted in involve rape and sexual harassment and given your stance on the topics is it safe to label you a troll?

Let's dig up an old Ray Lewis or Kobe Bryant article while we are at it? It's about the same thing.

This all day long. Especially grown azz men. The article in the NY Daily News has a line like "Manning's squeaky clean image based on lies" or something like that. Guess what?? All of these guys squeaky clean image is. It's marketing. Nobody has lived a perfect life. I can see a kid looking up to a ball player, but when adults put someone who can throw a football on some pedestal, it's just stupid.

Nothing wrong with a youngster having a pro as a role model on how to be great at a particular sport. Usually genetics and hard work is the answer.

If I'm not mistaken Archie was Peyton's.

I registered on these forums in 2010 so that I could troll almost 6 years later? Does that sound like a reasonable suspicion to you?

Stop being naive. I love Peyton, but he did do this and it was wrong. It is an interesting point to bring up that had this occurred in the age of FB and Twitter, I wonder how Peyton's reputation would be viewed today. I thought the article was very well written, and while I love UT and Peyton regardless, it was still hard for me to read because we all know he did this.
You appear to be mirroring Shaun King's racial bias. How can you declare with such certainty that "he did do this?" King's article could only be considered well written by one who can't recognize average literary acumen; one that's embellished with openly subjective rationale. Maybe Shaun King's a white lesbian wannabe.:eek:lol:

You may be a troll and just don't know it.

Troll means to post something to get a response. I do it all the time.

Well going by that definition, then most everyone here is a troll. Isn't that one of the major reasons for attempting a dialog/discussion...to get a response?

Sure it is.

I was reading more of "bumper's" testimony, and she tells how Peyton tea bagged two other players just to harass her, seems that they wouldn't like it either.

I don't care if it is Peyton Manning, I would have a problem with being tea bagged.

This is starting to get really stupid.
