it doesn't get much more cool, and tough than that.

Well i think that our quarterbacks are definetly taking the crowd out of the game.I personally am tired of seeing this poor display of passing.I was there for the UCLA game and Crompton took the crowd out of the game himself.I mean here we were going into the second half remaining optimistic and the very FIRST play he threw a pick.It is sad to say it but unless we can move the ball through the air or atleast not throw picks it is going to be hard for us to stay in the game.

V-O-L-S go VOLS go!!!

The people who are missing the games probably aren't the ones who would be watching a press conference.

Classy picture.

I'll be at both the Auburn and UGA games. I'll be rooting for an earthquake to erupt about midfield and swallow up both teams and sidelines.

it will be packed, no doubt about it. night game on ESPN its going to be rocking!!

I surely hope that we can fill Neyland Stadium against Auburn. I just received (8pm, Tuesday) an email from UT Athletics with the information that "a limited number of tickets still remain" for the game this Saturday. Of course there won't be any wide swaths of empty seats as in the Ohio game, but it would be great if we had a good, old fashioned SELL OUT; not only for this game but for the game against Georgia next weekend, too.

Well another problem i know of is that alot of the students just go to the games and leave at halftime or even before that just to say they went (sorority girls are really bad about this, i sit with 2 every game and they go just to take pics and then complain about something and use it as an excuse to leave) as status booster or something. I dunno, just think its really stupid ppl pay for their tickets now and leave halfway thru. I dunno about everyone else but when I pay for a ticket with my own money, my ass is sitting thru the entire game no matter what..

Our student section is a joke. It's embarrassing we can't even sell it out anymore. And that is coming from a current student (my ticket is section E row 49). Please no one behind me tell me to sit down...I plan on bringing the noise.

Also, how are yall getting your information on how the tickets are being sold. How do you know Auburn sold out its allotment and than some?

haha. Bring the PAIN!!!!!!

Phone rings.......

"Hello, this Lane Kiffin I need your support on Saturday. I promise if Neyland is full I will own up to my mistake and replace Crompton as QB for the rest of the year with Stephens. I apologize for our lackluster offense. I had hoped that you would blindly follow the team no matter it's performance, but I was wrong. I only wanted to play Crompton to make it more attractive to prospects at the QB positition that they would start next year if they chose UT. Because I am well paid, I didn't realize that a lot of fans are in financial binds and I hope that by putting the best team on the field I might give the fans a break from the daily grind by giving them a win. I realize that by starting Crompton it appeared as though we were conceding games. I apologize and come out and support your Vols!!!!"

That phone message would do wonders for the morale of all.

W's and post season play puts butts in the seats. Ask Bruce Pearl. Scalp tix will go back to 3 digits within a year or two.

Psst.....I'd tell Kiffen to have his team prepared, and play good football, and they will come. Always have. Always will.

An announcement that they are refunding part of the ticket price sure wouldn't hurt.

maybe if they didn't charge $70 for a ticket, especially in the uppers, people wouldn't resort to scalping.

All these people who are worried about face this week...what do you think is going to happen if we beat Auburn handily and the Georgia game comes rolling around? I think people would be eager for face then.

When ya'll talk about these fans not showing up for the games, these people really don't know how lucky they are. We live over 400 miles from Knoxville and would give anything to even see Neyland Stadium. I would go to every game I possibly could if I could live up there and afford it. Living near Memphis is a sh**whole!! Ya'll really are lucky!!

It pays to check the UTTix website every now and then.. I ended up with 2 for the Georgia game.. Section T, Row 1. Still not real sure how that happened.
