Andre Debose out for the season

Bummer. He can probably get medical redshirt, right? I'm sure he'll get another opportunity to play and contend for a Nat'l Title.

Yeah, he's redshirting. The injury could turn out to be a positive. He'd sit out this year and be a starter next year playing along DT and Chris Dunkley. Brantley should have plenty of weapons.

Sucks though.

Meyer announced after practice today that Debose will be out for the year. It sucks I expected him to contribute especially towards the end of the year ala Percy Harvin his Freshman year.

Clearly it wasn't a year long suspension handed down by Meyer since that is roughly 11.5 games longer than the stars get down there, but why is he out?

Now we need to keep the game close in the first half, and half Tebow go out near halftime and we can pull out the win. Of course, all the attention would be on Tebow's injury, and UT would be only an afterthought.

I hope we beat florida with Tebow still in the game. This will keep all the trolls from coming and posting crap all over the board talking about how we wouldn't have won if Tebow hadn't of gotten hurt.

Not sure how it affects the depth chart for the gators, maybe Lawgator can provide some insight, but according to the article "Meyer had tabbed the 5-foot-11, 185-pound speedster as Percy Harvin's replacement this fall."

I would hate to win just because Tebow got injured during the game. Well, I might not hate it but it would be sub-optimal. He does seem like a good guy even though there is roughly a 78% chance he's gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

We don't need you to feel sorry for us, this doesn't change our depth chart at all. We'll still be loaded on offense, he'll redshirt, get healthy, and be prepared for next year.

He would have definitely played, would not have started and probably wouldn't have seen a lot of snaps. He will benefit from another year in the weight room for sure.

Hate to see that. I don't wish injuries upon anyone. If you can't beat a team without their star player getting hurt, you don't deserve to win the game.
