And the starting QB is...

Per SI article:

Or is it enough after four years and time for Tennessee to roll the dice with one of their talented youngsters? That question is ultimately up to Jeremy Pruitt, who said after the game he, “Never thought about a quarterback change.”

Why ever not? What decent Head Coach would not consider a quarterback change at this point, and much sooner?

Also per SI article:

Still, Pruitt has given Guarantano a dramatically longer leash than pretty much any other player on the team. Pruitt has been quick to pull players for under performing or making mistakes, and this has resulted in Guarantano being benched. Still, Pruitt has been quick to put Guarantano back into games, even when his replacements were more effective in the offense.

“even when his replacements were more effective in the offense”

This is indefensible.

I mean, we've seen it happen in real time. Shrout and Maurer get pulled for "near interceptions", JG turns into a fumble/interception machine, trots right back out onto the field.

Pruitt has that old school, "seniority" matters mindset, and it clouds is thinking when it comes to personnel decisions, and it's negatively affected the development of the QB room especially.

See that take spews ignorance and a sheep mentality....i can guarantee you there are better coders out there that dont own apple or Microsoft....just because your in that position doesnt mean that others that are not can't or aren't more talented...
If you’re good enough to be a multi-million dollar coach and you’re in a 9-5 working for a middle class salary then you are wasting your life.

JG might lose confidence if he's pulled too early

Then he needs to go back to being a rah rah get the guy with the ball coach. We need an intelligent Head Coach. All the best Assistants in the world can’t cover for him, when he has authority to overrule them.

Really, how's that. Just because you have a PC and can rant about the coach doesn't make you the General Neyland of the nation! We as Volnation are not at practice everyday. I'm sure the coaches mentalities are: Let's play the worst guy so that 1. we all lose our jobs, 2. we piss off everyone in volnation and 3. Because we want to make losers out of our players!

GTFO

Agree! This mentality hurt Fulmer in his final years too!
