And some actually wanted Mike Leach?

Leach's players looked completely out of control at the end of that game. Also, I heard during the Cincy game that the Bearcats are one of the most penalized teams in the nation. Can't say I would want that here. I'm definitely feeling good about the way things turned out.

The Big 12 really hasnt had very good defense. Speaking of no answer. Saban seems to have no answer for Utah so far.

You guys are being silly.

Leech's O is amazing considering he has to compete with LSU, OU, t.u., Arkansas, A&M, TCU, Okie State, Mizzu,

Hell.. they have so many teams picking up players from around here that tech can't put up a defense.

If they had one, the game would have been much closer. To think that the Vols couldn't benefit from a very good passing minded coach in the SEC is foolish. Your team is as good as the players you can field, and Tennessee gets MUCH better players than tech.

I still enjoyed watching them get pounded though.. Harrel is a jerk.

Looks like some Techies have horrible losing attitudes...wow

You have no idea.. You can see the idiocy of tech fans on youtube though...

YouTube - Texas Tech Fan - Go Raiders!

I would say they are far worse than LSU in death valley. They rip bleachers out of their stadium during the game, they pooped in one of our fountains at A&M. We call them the classless clowns from the biggest highschool in texas because they will accept any idiot that graduates from highschool.

They about lost their Accreditation as a University last year.

Funny though.. TCU had Utah whooped earlier this year but blew the game with some mistakes at the end.

OU killed TCU though.

I still think Florida will win, but I don't think it will be a blowout.

We (pronounced "Hamilton") got it right. It's gonna take 2, maybe 3 years, to really see it, but I think UT football will win, and be competitive, beginning this September.

Great staff + great recruiters = great players = wins.

For those who question "why we aren't coaching our current players yet", that time will come, and the results will bear themselves out.

Just a feeling.

Go Vols.

Yes, I was one of them (people wanting Leach), but I am very glad that we got Lane Kiffin instead, the staff that he is putting together is impressive. I could not stop smiling earlier today during the press conference.

He just ran a QB sneak on 4th and 4. That would be yards, not inches.

Ole Miss' ball, at TX Tech's 39 yard line.

Genius. Maybe the pirates talked him into that play.

He had a pre-game meeting with Jack Sparrow.

The transitive property doesn't work in sports and never has. For example, Ole Miss beat Florida. Alabama beat Ole Miss. And yet Alabama lost to Florida.

Another Big 12 example: Texas, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech.

That whole logic just doesn't really reveal much on the surface.

I never was a Brian Kelly fan... something about him just feels off to me. Can't be trusted is the feeling I get from Kelly. Leach, I liked him, but I think I can agree with before said comments of him being the flavor of the month. It has taken him quite a few years to get to this level of winning, 9yrs I think. I just hope Kiffin & Co. get us to USC status quickly!

I thought the pirate lover could win a lot of games in the SEC, but not championships. I also thought Kelly would be a great hire, but I to was afraid he'd bolt like Saban after the next higher dollar. My favorite current college coach was Gary Patterson who I would have loved to had in Knoxville. In the end though I'm very exciting about Lane and his posse of assistant's that also recruit like heck.

I think we'll be happy with CLK and staff for a long while.

The more you think about the more you realize getting CLK is becoming a real blessing. No Lane, we don't get the legend Monte. No Lane and we probably lose "The Big O" to LSU. No Lane and we probably don't get Jim Chaney who I think is a real gem of a Offensive mind. I mean seriously, this is a "Dream Staff".
