Our D played great.
A couple goofs -- but also a few fabulous plays.
But overall, D owned Florida.

Take away the Hail Mary and the 70yd run (that the D actually forced the fumble/touchback) and FL was held to under 200 yds total offense.

We won all the stats except the most important one. Special teams and missed opportunities let us down.

I'm still scratching my head on 3 pass plays on that last possession. Just run Kelly. If you score great. If not kick for the tie with no time left. That's on Butch and Larry.

This lose is right up there with the 2015 lose, I don't know which is worse. I just don't see how you get beat deep with the game on the line. Knocking down passes one week and getting burnt deep the next.

Shoop is out of here? Butch jones threw the ball on 1st and 1 on the 1 yard line. WHO DOES THAT? It's called a QB sneak. Do it 4 times. JESUS!

Gaurantano's legs could have been very helpful in the end zone...I'm just saying.

And if we put everybody too deep and they get 30 yards over the middle and win on a field goal...then you still want to fire the guy. Defense was tough all day. My problem is passing inside the 10 with a weak QB and young receivers. Makes no sense. Just give Kelly the damn ball on the 1 yard line...

Would have had to be flawless to catch it, get down and get the timeout to have a shot at a fg.

We need to fire our RB coach since he does not teach player to be discipline after scoring touchdowns. Also fire the wide receiver coach since receivers cannot run proper routes. It caused our QB to throw a critical interception. I apparently am not a great sport, as it seemed BJ did all the talking when he met Mac for the post game hand shake and I thought he was going to kiss him. Best I could have said was good game and shook his hand and walked away. One yard line and throw passes. Really! A pass at the one yard line of a 50/50 ball on first down, never. We had a chance to beat a terrible Florida team and next year all our three star players will be rotating in. This should have been our year.

Don't forget, we gave up a nearly identical play to UGA.

Untrue. Jennings was covered by uga defenders, he just made A helluva catch. Our three dbs let the one wr get behind them.

So gator players get to do the chomp in the camera every time they score, but it's not A penalty? But jk does it and you think our best position coach needs to be canned? Get real

Can't blame this on Shoop! Our D played great, besides the last play!

FL should have never got the ball back with time on the clock. We should have ran the ball (from the 6) and scored a TD or took a TO with 5 seconds left and kicked a FG.

Now! Who's fault is that?
Great against what? They had no offense

Man I keep watching that play and wondering why Martin peels away from that receiver to take a pointless short route. Does not absolve Abernathy but I think for a moment he thought Martin was coming with him...

TV analysts said the same thing Martin should have stayed on Cleveland with safeties behind for support. Martin broke coverage and thebrest is history.

We need to look for a new coach in a higher position than Shoop. And then let that new head coach pick his staff.

I get that but my question is if Butch stays and we fire Shoop who is available. What names are out there? Who do we go after? I'm just curious as to who.

Just for the sake of argument. If Shoop is fired who do we go after. I'm just asking to see who's out there. Give me some names to go for Ime just wondering who you think we would get

Chavis should be available once aTm gives Sumlin the pink slip.

This is on the kicking game. The penalty Kelly had after the touchdown was huge ! We had pleny of opportunities to put the ball in the end zone and couldn't cash in.

BS dont blame kickjng. Coaches decision. Was Guaran5anamo trying a sneeekz? Nope... not his.fault but he should have had his 1st td!!+!!!&'dkdk

You are correct relative to our coverage of gator play compared to uga coverage of Jennings catch. I think they were talking about the gator route being the same route uga used to score the TD before the Jennings hail mary TD.

I could be wrong, my brain is numb after watching yet another clusterfawk in the swamp. My heart goes out to the players, the coaching staff, not so much.
