"Greatest football city in the sec" followed by "Nashville is not a black and gold city, there's fans for all teams". That logic is worse than my kids excuses for why they didn't clean their rooms.

I guess with me not living in Nashville and in Memphis, I don't hate Vandy all that much, because they're irrelevant. Then again, I've never met a Vandy fan in my life.

I met one once. It is kind of like sighting a UFO. You are in disbelief at first, and once you make contact, you ask them several times if they really are a Vandy fan or just got the shirt cheap at an overstock sale.

And once you tell others you met one, most do not believe you. So, you make sure you get a picture of you with them to validate the event. But get several copies, because some will still rightfully want professional analysis.

Agreed. If that is how they really market their team to recruits, no wonder a winning season there is such a big deal. Forget that it is truthful.

Reminds me of that guy from Vandy's team last year that tweeted, "I came to Vandy to get an education, not win a championship." Could not resist replying, "Congrats on a sound plan."

I've read that it's 2 people that made this video and they're both students at vandy and part of some club or something there. Supposedly this is all legit and no trolling.

Back when Barnett first arrived in Knoxville, a Youtube video was making the rounds of one of his high school games. The announcer was a high school student, and was super dismissive of Barnett and Tennessee, claiming he played dirty and finishing with "good luck at Tennessee, Mister Barnett" in a very sarcastic tone. Anyone remember that video clip?

I think this is the same kid, apparently now a Vandy student. Voice sounds the same.
