An (Overly) Optimistic Outlook

I'm no where near close to saying anything is an obvious win.

Do we match up well over a couple of shoddy teams? Sure. But that doesn't mean it's an obvious win.

I believe a lot of football fans are going to be surprised. Don't know who will win the SEC East. But, I can GUARANTEE it won't be Florida. They put all their eggs in the "Tebow Basket" last year. Brantley is going to be a deer in headlights. The Gators lost a lot of talent on D. I say the East is going to be a wide open toss up.... excluding Vandy...lol:good!:

Are you gonna man up and come back on here in December to admit you're wrong, if indeed you are. If Tennessee wins more than 5 games I will admit I was wrong. Who else?

If Dooley wins nine games, he should win Coach of the Year.

If he wins nine games with this team, he should get a contract extension since we'll have our next great coach on our hands.

I agree! Not sure really what to expect this year but I'm trying to remain a bit optimistic! Hopefully I get back from this shiithole to watch some games! LETS GO VOLS!

I'll take my turn on this

I feel more confident at QB going in to this season than I did last year

I feel a little less confident at RB, but I wasn't expecting the great things we eventually got from Hardesty last year

I feel better at WR

The OL is obviously a concern, but last year it was as well. We arguably have equal talent on the line this year, its just much more green

Defensively its incredibly hard to replace two early first round picks. I understand that. Our defense however has not been our problem in recent years. DT is an obvious concern. I think Wilcox will have the boys ready to play though

Thats my attempt at optimism...enjoy!!

6 wins is a success.... thats UT martin, UAB, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Memphis, and one of either USCe, GA, Ole miss.... id be satisfied to see the music city bowl this year and head into next year with a QB and offensive line with experience and expectations of 8 wins

i love when people do this.

then, you start listing the other options.

then, it becomes even more obvious to pick florida
