They all seem pretty cool to me, except for the UK guy/girl. He/she seems like a d**k. Don’t know how they have time to be on here and their own team’s fan site. Often wonder if they also spend as much time on other team’s fan sites as they do UT’s. Strange behavior, IMO. Maybe they just enjoy ours the best.

The trolls are pretty easily identified and ignored.

I thought of volnation as an orange-blooded private clubhouse, "members only" kind of thing.

But I got to thinking about it the other day, and a more useful analogy is to Neyland Stadium. At Neyland, when I run into a fan of the other team, I welcome them, ask how their visit has been, kid around with them, a little teasing but all good-natured. I want them to enjoy everything about their trip--except the outcome of the game.

And so why not here? Why not treat visitors the same way on vn.com?

Blinding flash of the obvious, right? I mean, most of you do that all the time.

Okay, so I've been a mental midget about all this. So I apologize. I apologize to folks like @Jaws and @bamawriter and @99gator and @Lawrence Wright and @LittleCat and @ZippyMorocco and all the others I've told once (or a hundred times) to gtfo. I'd like you to stay, and I'd appreciate if you could forgive my rudeness.

Not you, IknoxvolsI, you remain a troll and need to just die under a bush somewhere.

I also apologize to Freak, the mods, and my fellow Vols fans who have had to put up with my unreasonable stance. You're mostly better people than me (not you, Bearded), and this proves it.

Mea culpa, please forgive.

I want them to hate everything about their trip. I hate them and they hate us. Screw em. I hope they drive home safe though

Trust me, 99% of people on this site would rather see "GTFO" rather than "0-12" in every thread UF is mentioned.

If their feelings are hurt because they catch shizz every once in a while, oh well...that's kind of what happens when you go on a rival's site.

How many other teams sites do you visit on a regular basis and comment?

Respectfully I’ve never been a person to go post something just to get a like obviously. I respect people on here whether we agree or not. Part of the fun is trying to get a reaction and get a little carried away. It’s makes it a lot more entertaining. I have seen nasty shots on here but never give it much thought. I’d rather people not knock on our players and coaches that have been a positive for the program. After that it all seems fair game . As the wicked witch once said to the scarecrow, “Wanna play ball scarecrow “? Lol

You can't convince me that all the Gator posters on here aren't Chris Doering. That always makes their virtual faces more punchable to me. Lol. I kid. Kinda.

I don't understand the mindset of people who come to another school's site to act like an azz. I just like talking football. I've been on a Mizzou site since they joined the SEC. We have a good time there.

We have some good neighbors who provide their perspective without trolling…I only see the trolls post once then they are added to my ignore list.

No apologies for anything said here. I wouldn't expect to be welcomed if I waltzed my ass onto SwampGas, or any other forum, and began talking **** about that team. Like it or lump it. It's that simple.
