is that he can and most likely will salvage our current recruiting class. I also wouldn't be surprised to see him flip a few big defensive name too. A top 15 class is very doable.

I'm liking this hire more and more by the minute. We have come out of these last couple weeks better than I ever thought possible.

Welcome to The Hill Mr. Pruitt and Go Big Damn Orange.

I keep seeing people post this...do you all not realize how easy it is to recruit to Bama or fla st? Recruiting to our dumpster fire...another story. I will reserve judgement officially until after NSD

An old narrative. Butch Jones recruited well for the most part. Middle Tennessee has become fertile ground. And "dumpster fire" is so overused.

Meh, I'm not sure if he'll even realize what school he's supposed to be recruiting for this year while he's tied up with the playoff. Might as well punt this class unless Freeze goes a little Louisville with the recruits.

Does napalm drop give you something new and exciting to work with?

He also speaks Bamer which is a very hard dialect to learn. He should be able to communicate with several recruits from that area.

Butch recruited to this “dumpster fire” pretty well don’t you think? If he can, why can’t Pruitt?

I think his resume is great and I think he can do well here. Only concern I have is that he is from Alabama and played for the tide. Clearly that would be his dream job if it came open. What happens when Saban eventually retires? If you thought it was ugly when our coach left for a job in Cali, imagine if our coach leaves for bama.

Hoping his contract has a $100 million buyout if he leaves for another SEC job.
