I know this is volnation, and we tend to overreact.

We lost the game for one pure reason :Florida looked like a club who played under the bright lights before, we didnt.
-We made countless presnap mistakes (illegal formations, false starts)

-I like Bray, but he just wasnt very good last night. Missed easy short to mid level throws. People who were in neyland last night could tell you he missed some WIDE OPEN recievers down the field that you cant see on tv.

-I like our recievers, but 4 total drops from CP and Jhunt? a few more from other guys? Hard to win when our stars don't come out and play like stars in this big of a game.

-Dooley : Him and Sal failed to make crucial adjustments, we looked like a team who has never defended a jet sweep before. Also, something that concerned me was Muschamp coached to win, We coached a little scared.

- But all in all, should we fire dooley now? I dont think so. Still have plenty of big games left this year to sort it out.

Just my take.. I drove 13 hours to see this game, first trip to neyland. What an atmosphere it was..
I was there with ya pal but didn't drive as far but was scared that my son and I wasn't going to get in (didn't have tickets), everything you say is correct.

Fla was setting up the jet sweep the whole first half we stopped it a few times, then the QB option then boom it all came together as Muschamp figured us out..

All these negavols are doing the exact same thing they are complaining about our team doing: giving up. Fair weather fans, drama queens, negavols... if you're a real UT fan then show support! (Some of them might be 13) GBO!!

It sucks to donate money to see the school you love continually lose.

The main thing is it doesnt take a very smart person to realize we were completely outcoached in the second half Say what you want but it was extremely obvious

If CP pulls in that pass, if JH catches that 3d down pass, things look very different. I'm not criticizing them, I'm just saying that the coaching decisions look far different if we make a couple more plays. If defense hadn't missed a couple of assignemnts on the Fla long runs, the result may be differnet. It takes adjustments and execution and the execution was not good.

we drove 14 hours from Fl for the game (5 times I've been...first was 93 I believe, for the night game Fl won like 38-0) and I must say it was the most electric atmosphere and crowd I have ever experienced at a TN game (compares to some home big gator games)....you all had that stadium rocking...naturally, I was happy with the outcome (home now, whew, lots of storms on the interstate) and wish you all a great rest of the season...

You know what guys, being stuck in Conneticut, making the trip was awsome. Friday the guy at gate 7 actually let me on the field for a few mins.. Neyland really is special guys.. Ive been at a bunch of big Nfl games over the years (AFC titles, the 16-0 game) it doesnt compare to neyland. Was a heck of a game for 3 qs.

Just really bothers me that a solid 5-10 thousand people started to leave when there was 11 mins left down 14 with 3 timeouts.. You'd get beat up if you did that at a patriots game.

but all in all, what an expiernce. Times are tough now, but just believe in the system..times will get better

you wouldn't have to leave a Patriots game with 11 minutes left because they probably don't quit.

So, Fulmer didn't beat Florida every year (rarely did, as I recall), Kiffin had a "moral victory" (read: loss), and Dooley lost three times, twice with no depth and little SEC-level talent left on his roster, once with a new defensive scheme...

Is everyone in this fanbase 12 years old, and a fair-weather fan?

Pretty much so.

It sure as hell seems so. Amazing the 180 this place has done. I'm pissed too, but we can't write the season off. There is a lot of football to played and we are a capable football team.
