Not much else to add that hasn't been said. (Army basic in '88) Just work your hardest, do what you are told, do not talk back and all will be fine. Take nothing personally, as they are trying to break you down to get all the "street" crap out of you, then they will build you back up.
The closer you get to completing your training, the easier the D.I.'s will be.
BTW, as far as recruiters go, they are being nice because they want you in. They have a quota to fill. Believe me, if they tell you something, but it is not in your contract (in writing), it will not happen. Fair warning.
