It's nothing personal. It's traditional for the visiting team to wear white jerseys and playing in Bryant Denny is kind of like playing at Wimbleton -players are required to wear all white for the sake of tradition. That's what happens when you play in a classy venue, Vols.

:eek:lol:

Edit:
And I just realized that I mispelled jerseys. It's been a long day guys

Wasn't the reason kiffin wanted to wear the orange jerseys in the first place because it was a cover picture from SI decades ago? Where we played in Bryant Denny wearing orange while they wore crimson? So in essence, he wanted to bring back some of the old school tradition. Correct me if I'm wrong... Bama fans have no idea and their arrogance is just incredible comparing b-Denny to wimbeldon lol!

Jolly good! Tea and crumpets. Chip chip and tallyho my good man! I say, the queen is not amused! That mister Saban is not a bad chap!

ps. Bama does have one thing in common with Britain, a total lack of quality dental care!!!

No, no, no. Nope. That's not the real reason at all. THIS is the real reason:

***Vols: The real reason Bama won't let UT wear orange...*** - Topic Powered by Eve For Enterprise

"Because screw you Tennessee, that's why.

What part of this are you not understanding?

Your weak-ass coach made this weak-ass request for a FAVOR from Nick Saban. Read that again. Did you really think he was going to relent on anything? Anything at all? He isn't giving you a damned thing except an ass-whipping.

You don't get to be special. You don't get to wear your home jerseys. You aren't playing at home. You are playing in Bama's house. And Nick Saban doesn't want to be your friend. He wants to dominate you.

It was an insult to even ask for his permission. You think this will help fire up your players? Nick Saban and Bama players are going to be fired up that you even had the gall to disrespect them enough to ask about wearing your ugly-ass home jerseys to their house.

You want to talk about how this jersey thing is supposed to be a tradition? How you want to renew it? We are going to celebrate the only tradition that really matters in this series: Bama stomping your snitching, jealous, Hee-Haw hillbilly asses.

And while we're at it: Saban has a point to prove about Bama being the dominant team in the SEC. You can't do to Bama what you did when you embarassed Florida. You can't take the ball out of Crompton's hands and run against Bama like you did against Florida. You won't move the ball on Bama like that. You can't burn clock against Bama like you did against Florida. There is no way to play it safe and keep it respectable. Your running game will be stifled for three-and-outs all day long unless you make Crompton play. And the Bama defense will eat him alive when that happens. There is no hope for your team.

Bama just told you and Kiffin to go screw yourselves.

Now Bama is going to give you and your coach the reality check everyone has been waiting for. The one Florida wasn't man enough to give you."

Teacher to Bama Tmmy: Don't forget to do your homework tonight.
Bama Timmy: I ain't gonna do it!
Teacher: Now Timmy "ain't" isn't a word! Don't you know the Queen's English?
Bama Timmy: I know she sure the heck ain't German!

If BDS is "Wimberton" then we need to go all Serena and shove the ball down their effin throat.
