I just finished watching season 2 Asylum. I had read a lot of bad reviews on it but I really enjoyed it.

Lily Rabe was great as Sister Mary Eunice.

I liked the Bloody Face storyline as well.

In order, I like Murder House then Asylum and bringing up the rear is Coven.

Coven isn't as good as I thought it would be at the beginning of the season.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 4 will Take Place in the 1950s

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 4 will Take Place in the 1950s

American Horror Story: Coven has turned out to be yet another incredibly fantastic season! The fourth season is on its way, and co-creator Ryan Murphy has already started plotting what he plans on doing with it. There's not a lot of information on what it will deal with, but in a recent interview with EW he says that it will be set in the 1950s, and that Jessica Lang will have a German accent. Here's what he had to say,

“If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”

Germans in the 50s? The first thing to pop in my head when I read this was Nazi's. Runaway Nazi's and UFO's?! Who know what is being planned for sure, that's just me speculating. I'm excited to learn some more about what's in store!

Coven has been disappointing this season. A little too campy. But Jessica Lange is amazing as ever.

Was it ever made known why the female maid looked old but young to McDermont's character?

It was part of her curse (or choice). Her youthful sexy self was meant to allure weak men into sin and expose them for the aholes that they truly are...It is apart of her backstory
