His ankle is clearly bothering him. Still playing tough and hit some clutch shots tonight.

Exactly. The young man is injured and gutting it out for his team…even with a high NBA draft slot. He gets nothing but respect from me.

I’ve enjoyed watching him grow and develop this season. I think he can use another year of eating and weight training in college, and I’d love to see him come back.

But I’m not holding my breath.

His movements generally seem fluid, but the tell tell signs for me are that he seems to have slowed down on the aggressive moves to the basket he developed over the course of the season, however did make a couple of nice angle drives to the hoop yesterday. Also he seems limited with his vertical leap. He can still rise and shoot over a lot of defenders but less vertical leap, especially near the basket. So much respect for this kid though, he has proven he's not made of glass.

Having 3 days off will help some, everyone else just needs to continue to step up and hopefully Nate will be healthy enough to make an impact. He hustled and fought through everything, Nate is a battler even when it’s not his best night. GBO
He scored what, 16 points on a bad ankle? What are we even talking about? Played as hard as he could, gave maximum effort. Most in his shoes would have already packed it in and started getting ready for the draft. This kid is the best of both worlds combining talent with effort. Special player.
