WR is the absolute least of my concerns at this point. I would bet DD feels the same.

Anybody saying we dont need Ambles is clueless...he is an awesome talent
Now him being coachable is the problem

He's going to be nothing but trouble where ever he ends up IMO. However, if for some reason he ends up with us, i'll do my best to deal with it.

Consider me clueless I guess. We dont need Ambles. He has as good of a chance being a cancer as he does difference maker. Without Hunter, Rogers, Arnett, just to name a few, I would agree with you.

Guys get your heads out of your butts and realize we can't pick and choose right now. Ambles is very talented an awesome receiver and if he wants to come here, let him. Quit being jerks because he passed up on us to go to USC. Let the kid come here, I don't wanna see him go to another SEC school and then when we play them, we regret not taking him. We need all the talent we can get

1. WR is not a position of high need.

2. He has skills but we already have plenty of talent there and no need to take a chance.

3. None of the georgia schools offered him, florida turned him away IIRC, and people he went to HS with have commented on his character issues. He even got booted by kiffin. He is the very definition of high risk.

4. The LAST thing you want on a young rebuilding team is a cancer. Trust me, I know what thats like. Even the most talented teams can be destroyed by one guy.

I'm happy to see our coaches are smart enough to not give him the time of day. It has nothing to do with him choosing USC over UT.

So what your saying is... We should take the Red pill? or was it the Blue pill?

I agree that we don't necessarily need Ambles, but IMO, we don't pass up that kind of talent. I'm not even so sure that he has proven himself to be as problematic as many are suggesting. I think he got suspended at USC for being late to team functions. Is there anything else that I'm forgetting about?

He is an awsome talent if he would just get his head on straight and actually attend class if he does he will be really good, but if he dont he will be a nobody and it wont matter were he goes to school because it will never last

The staff has already stated emphatically that they will not pursue Ambles. End of story.

It's true that we can't be picky, but we sure can't afford to add people like him. He probably wouldn't be a good fit, and we need all the scholarships available to add at other positions.
