More than 250 high school stars gathered in Gainesville for the Nike camp and while there were a lot of standouts, the one who seems to be in a league all by himself is Kelvin Taylor, who will be a tenth grader at Glades Day. You don’t need a DNA test to know who his daddy is. He looks like Fred’s clone although he’s just 16 years old and still has room to grow. He played varsity football as a freshman at Glades Day where he’s already scored 76 touchdowns. The state record is 107 so figure that’s a record he will obliterate as a SOPHOMORE. Dwight Thomas, whose famous protégé was one Emmitt Smith, took a look at Taylor Sunday and remarked, “I know a running back when I see one and that’s a running back!”

Does he have a half brother or a best friend that we can recruit as a package deal? That would be awesome.

I cant imagine him wanting to play in CUM's spread. he needs a pro style O.

This kid moves very well, excellent at finding the holes, and waiting for blocking. Very disciplined for being so young.

The best thing that could happen for Tennessee is for Florida State and Miami to become relevant again. When those are good it divides up the talent and makes it much easier for us.

I agree with this and Florida State will be there again in another year or two.

its actually the opposite. FSU is killing in commits right now. Randy Shannon is slowly drowning.

My opinion is that he will play at UM... he def. won't leave the state of Florida.

I know his dad and he has said that anywhere is fine with him. Fred is 100% Gator, but doesn't expect his boys to follow in his footsteps...
