I am sure many of you are aware that Amachi Knoxville and Emarald Youth is having a pre-game tailgate on Saturday. Tony Basilio has championed this cause for a number of years. The goal is to round up 500 tickets to the game in order to provide a great college football Saturday to local children who's parents are incarcerated.

They have managed to come up with 300 tickets but they still need 200 more. Donations can also be made to Amachi Knoxville which is a 501(c)(3). This has nothing to do with whether you care for Basilio's program but it is a great event for the kids. These kids would otherwise probably never experience the spectacle of Neyland Stadium and the Tennessee Volunteers. Any tickets or contributions would be greatly appreciated.

patrick, you might want to post this in the Tickets Forum and the Recruiting Forum, too!

Amachi only needs 100 more tickets. Tony B was able to round up another 100 tickets yesterday thanks to the generosity of many Vol fans.

I live in Georgia, so this is the first I have heard of this. What a great cause! This is the true Volunteer spirit.

30 tickets still needed for Amachi Tailgate. Consider donating your extras for a great cause.
