Someone tell me this is a joke
Some people who post on this blog, don't have a clue as to how the game is played. I would like for this person who seems to think that Ramar had a bad night, get on the floor for just one minute and see how tough this game really is.

Ramar was awesome, he is a man out there. He was getting killed driving to the hole, but kept doing it. Its hard to make a layup when you're getting body banged repeatedly by Dorsey, Dozier and/or Taggart.

He's just a hard Detroit baller, plain and simple. I love the guy.

Look, I agree that Ramar missed a whole lot of shots he should've made but I was still impressed with his play. He showed that he can get dribble penetration with the best of them. As he matures and hits those shots (which he normally isn't too bad at making), the bigger threat he will be. I expect him to have a great NCAA Tournament and an All-SEC performance next year. His game is really starting to improve and his potential is endless.

He is just not that good.

With that statement it makes you look like you know nothing about basketball. Ramar is really good. Plus I'd like to see what you could do in the Memphis game. Maybe he didn't have a great shooting night, but I'd take him on my team any time. He's so quick, and when he takes it to the rim you can't stop him

you guys are funny.
again i bet half the guys responding that I know nothing never played.
i played all through high school...yep all state...and played in college..
I have coached for a very long time and won state championships as well as two top 10 finishes in AAU as a coach.

Ramar did not play a great game...I believe he was only credited with 4 true turnover where he led to atleast 9 although give the benefit of doubt on 2 passes that maybe should have been caught..

its funny...most of the time people tell me I am too biased towards pt guards since that is what I played and that I give them too much credit..oh well.
you guys have your opinions and obviously no one agreed with mine..That is ok.
I don't think he has played very well this year....I don't think he is in the top 25 in pt guards in the ncaa's even.
We shall see....

Do you watch the NBA? If so... then yes, you will see... in about a year and 4 months.

I said state championships and top 10 in AAU
I can give you teams if you like but anyway not important.
I don't claim to be things im not like the online rich guys or internet tough guys.

I made a point from what I consider to be a knowledgeable standpoint and others disagreed..That is why i put the title as I did..
maybe I was overcritical...i can be that...

that being said i was not impressed...
i am going to watch the game again tonight from tv and not the stands to see if i was wrong or right.

memphis was too quick for me....i would have to have relied on outthinking and outhustling them....
I could have held my own to a point...
look I am not saying that Ramar is not good....

i am saying he didn't play great, he is not a great pt guard.
i root for him and i hope he will be the best pt guard ever because he is a vol..
i don't want to talk bad about him...

Volmania,
If you and I are on the court and I throw you 10 passes in a game...doesn't matter if they are perfect and hit you right in the hands or if they are 5 ft over your head or if they hit u in the feet....and you catch 5 of the 10 passes.....how many were good passes.

also what do you consider a good assist to turnover ratio for a pg

That is the absolute, most moronic way to try and get a point across.

There are a ton of passes that are caught that aren't good passes, and there are a ton of passes that aren't caught that are good passes.

It's probably be best if you stopped posting about bball, b/c it's clear your knowledge on the subject is equal to my knowledge of nuclear fission.
