Am I the only one who checks the weather from all the morning newscasts, instead of just one? Like, if one says severe weather, I have to see if the other 2 stations say the same thing. If they do, I know to get my s*** inside. I always go by consensus. If 2 out of the 3 meteorologists say the same thing, I'd say, that's what's gonna happen.

Or am I just crazy?

I don't watch the news. I just check weather.com if I want to know what's going to happen in the next 24 hours if I'm going to be outside.

I don't put much stock in the local weather. Weather boradcasters and baseball hitters are the only 2 jobs that you can miss more than 40% of the time and still be considered good at.:)

I will do what you do sometimes...lots of times I don't even know what it is supposed to do...I just see how warm it is when I leave for work and then go

when i do, i usually check one channel and then don't bother to do so again for another 24 hours.

The problem with meteorology isn't about what kind of weather there will be. The difficulty is WHERE the particular types of weather are going to be at a given time. What you should do is look on sites like weather.com or weatherunderground.com. You will have a much better idea of what is coming your way by getting the images and data first hand.

I don't check the weather. I put my clothes on and leave. I don't care what it's going to do, there's nothing I can do about it. The only weather that I get is from the people that tell me about it when they come into work.
