I was in Y6, row 29. That's pretty close to the field. Except when they were on our goal line, I couldn't read the numbers. I'm not sure what the solution is. I know black is not one of our colors, but a black outline sure would help.

Anyone else have difficulty reading the numbers?

Bob Kesling did...as did the announcers on ESPN3.

I had no problem whatsoever reading the numbers at the game. The names on the other hand were are a whole different story.

I had no problem reading the numbers or names, but I can't read, so there's that.

I could see them just fine from II. Not really, but when I watched the replay on TV I had very little trouble seeing them.

The announcers need to know who is playing where before the snap--it is not a matter of reading the numbers, it is a matter of pre-game preparation.

I had no problems reading the numbers...however the guy in front of me was convinced that Bray was not in the game on the second series. I told him like 7 times that "no that is number 8 and it is bray" and he would respond with "no there is two numbers on that jersey"....of course he had already consumed 3 cokes with a little spice if you know what I mean so he may have been seeing 88.

They were hard to see being that these jerseys didn't have the black outline around the numbers.

I have trouble pretty often, but I had cataract surgery at 19. The numbers seem easier to read when the jerseys are wet, Its gonna be worse when they're dry and shiny. These tight jerseys get folded up on the big guys and makes the problem worse. I just try to remember what accessories (sweatbands, alan iverson sleeves, etc) the players wear to help me figure it out.

When I came in through one of the lower tunnels, it was easy to read them. When I was at the top of the upper deck, I barely was able to make them out. The contrast on them sucks. Larger numbers with better bordering would help a lot.

I had the same problem as you, and I was in section P - row 28. I know I will get hammered for this "want," but I wish they would outline the numbers in black for the sole purpose of making them stand out better.
