Sorry for my previous post, FL weekend and JD is taking it's toll. Of course the SEC is the best conference in the country.

I would agree that the SEC is arguably the best conference in the country. But UT as good as anyone in the country.........not so much:eek:lol:

Regarding your questions about repsonsiblities for wins/losses.

1) The Cal and Florida losses I thought were on the coaches, especially Chavis. The Alabama game we were completely outcoached and unprepared.

2) I think Fulmer has had Richt's number for the last couple of years and has outcoached him. I'm interested to see if Richt has learned from butt-kickings over the last couple to see if he can draw a bead on Fulmer's blaring weaknesses.

3) KY, SC, and Vandy - I think it was close because of bad coaching - bottomline, however I think the players eeked those wins out despite the lax defense and conservative play calling that made it close in the first place.

I truly think that our talent is the only thing that keeps us close a lot of times. Honest to goodness the UCLA game shows exactly how our own coaching stupidity plays into the hands of the other team, namely Chavis playing lax with the secondary in the second half after we had 4 interceptions in the first half. Completely mindless strategy...

If he says he is very upset, then he is accused of just saying what he thinks fans want to hear. If he wins, that is not good, because he will "hang on to his job". I like your post and this it is accurate.

I also like CPF...but there is something wrong with the track that we are currently on.

I don't know if a coaching change is what needs to be done. I would like whatever the problem is, to be fixed.

I want to see the program win...will that be with CPF or do we need someone else? I don't know

What does it actually take for you to realize its the coaching of this team that is its downfall?

Have neither of you been paying attention since the moment he put down the Sears trophy ten years ago?

Its been a STEADY downward trend since that night and we are not near the bottom yet. If we continue along this trend, recruiting will continue to suffer, making the talent drop off on the team. That, in turn, will decrease the number of 'talent' wins we get each season (re UAB, NIU, etc). Pretty soon, 4-8/5-7 will be the norm.

This doesnt end here. You're halfway through this program to destroy a once elite football program. We havent reached the lowest point at which we can fall just b/c we're Tennessee. We can, and will, become just like UK, Vandy, and Arky if we allow this regime to continue calling the shots.

I'm sitting here LMAO reading all of those Fulmer apologists. What in the world is it going to take for us to get a new football coach. Name me the last time you could say we "outcoached" someone...Ughhhhhhhhhh. Yep, thats what i thought. I can rattle of a dozen times where I can say we got outcoached!

I can name a dozen in the last three seasons, but let's be honest -- I don't EVER recall Fulmer outcoaching anyone.

He's ridden talent to just about every win he has.

I can't believe anyone is still supporting Fulmer after today's game. This was finally the complete exposure of the coaching staff that we have seen coming for years. Every area that FL dominated us in (special teams, turnovers, penalties) is directly correlated to our coaches. What more do you guys need? Every negative thing that happened today is regularly prevented by teams with a good coach. Every statistical category that people use to compare coaches was appalling today. There is no hope, only stupidity as this point.

No tackling technique, terrible special teams, turnovers, we embarrased ourselves today by even being on the same field as UF.

Bottom line, No Fundamentals = Bad Coaching

Everyone on VN knows Fulmers days are numbered we dnt need 300 people sayn the same thing hes to damn old the game has changed he cant even manage the clock. Everytime we see Fulmer its him holding the national championship trophy that ***** old 10 YEARS OLD quit living in the past!!!!I dnt know if any of yall heard the post game show but 97% of the call ins were exactly rite. We play like that we win 4 games this year but people say im no true vol fan, i have no faith....While Fulmer is coach i will not go to another Tennessee game this was the most saddest thing ive seen in big orange country Clawson cant bring his Richmond scheme and think its gonna magically work in the SEC. There is no leadership on this team because their is no fire or motivation in fulmer leadership starts with seniors foster is down on himself hell how many tds he got??0 how many catches Briscoe have maybe 5 an how Rogers has more pt than him shows how stupid they are. I hate to see us lose but if it means we gotta lose 7 games for Fulmer and all his staff to be out of here than so be it its time for a change maybe AD figure that out when theres only 70,000 at the NIU game. Tennessee football this is unacceptable we are the laughing stock of the SEC. I think the best thing for now is to let the season play out and if its a losing season which i believe thats certain he has to go and i really think it will happen this time. alot of you will say im wrong because we only lost by 24...it was only 30-6 Florida only had 6 or 7 possesions!Fulmer had a good run great all-time record to be in the SEC but the game has passed him by its time to move on thts the first home game ive been to and maybe heard Rocky Top only 6 times.Sad all that talent but they dnt know what to do with it. SWWWWWWWWWW had to get that off my chest:disappointed:

Even Phil hates himself after today's game. I heard his daughters egged his house as well.

All kidding aside, I think you can appreciate Coach Fulmer's accomplishments and still support a coaching change. That's where I am at this point.
