I am quite disappointed for our fans, players, etc...Not from the standpoint of win or loss but it appears on offense that our players are in a very conservative, basic scheme. Almost every pass was a snap and quick throw to the sideline or a wide receiver screen. Our imagination on offense is not there. I know we scored when Clausen hit some plays down the middle but good lord, why does it take that long into the game before you do it. I think that's the reason some of the few passes we attempted over the middle were so open because UAB was probably only focusing on the sideline stuff. I've tried to not be very critical of Randy Sanders but I just don't see much innovation. Maybe I've watched too much TN football but I can just about call most of TN's plays by looking at their formation. If we as casual fans can do this, what can a talented defensive coordinator do? Again, maybe I'm overreacting. Please someone. Provide some comfort.
