Didn't knock anyone for being undereducated. Technically, residency starts second year. Way to go overboard on someone, though. (Note the proper use of a comma before though)

Question...

If you were hanging from a ledge by one hand and the only person there to help had a gator shirt on would you say "uhhh no thanks, I think I'll wait till a Vol fan comes along"?

Seriously, if you did this in jest then, yea, it's funny but if you seriously wouldn't let her tend to your wife because she is a gator fan then it's stupid IMO...

Putting your childs life in danger because of a logo is not crazy - it is retarded. I bleed orange but my kids are ranked way above my favorite FB team. Man if I were you wife, I would divorce you before you abused the kids.JMHO
Dude, sit down and take a breath.

Too far...

I've written off places like Boston and L.A. based on their franchises and fans.

With that being said... I would be okay with a doctor from there. We're talking about someone who went to school for a minimum of 7 years and this is a career that affects both them and you. You have every right to pick another doctor but I wouldn't do it based on their affiliation. Turning a doctor way based on school/sports affiliation is no better than turning someone away based on race. You're judging them on one thing and it has nothing to do with being a doctor.

Congrats on your kid though. :)
Damn, you people can't take a joke. Come on.

Seeing as I lived it, I don't think I am wrong here. In many specialties, including the one I trained in, there is very little to do with what you will actually be practicing. Primary care, sure your internship is part of your residency. For many such as radiology, anesthesia, et al., however, an internship is just that. A means to an end.

You're fine because you recognize this is a little mental. Everyone's a little mental.

I told a perfect stranger that DFACS should visit her house after she proudly regaled the whole elevator with a tale about her daughter's mastery of the C-A-T-S, Cats, Cats, Cats! cheer.

Border trash...
