We did win. We won our program back!

I doubt that this is over for the Haslams. They aren't just going to give up and roll over. I hope we hire a great coach and the program does well for a number of reasons. One of those reasons is because if this hire fails, it will give the HOH a chance to weasel their way back into influence (if they aren't in jail).

Glad y'all got the warm and fuzzies from Fulmer.

All it did for me was trigger flashbacks of getting blown out by Bama and watching their fans singing in the 4th quarter in 2008 in a near empty Neyland Stadium.

Meet the new boss same as the old boss. The entrenched powers are still in place. We just slapped a bandaid on a severed limb today. I'm afraid the futility will continue.

Glad your remembering seasons where we actually won games in the SEC.

I teared up when Fulmer started speaking. It just felt right. I feel like they just wiped the slate clean and we are starting over the right way. The TN way. I'm excited for the future.

This.

Fulmer though? I mean he's been successful here for a long time as a player and coach at different levels. I can't see him being on board with continuing down the same path. That could be their evil plan all along and that would be just the most sinister thing ever. I just can't believe PF would do that to UT.

Tee Martin does not have the experience to be an SEC coach.

They were interviewing him at Georgia Southern Bum Fu** or somewhere but he ain't SEC material.

Why do people keep mentioning him as a possible head coach at Tennessee?

He has never coached a game! Not one freaking game!

get off that chit!
I agree. He mentioned something about needing a coach with experience. That made me think Tee was out

I had a "goin' old school" vibe. Les Miles?
Miles would win at a high level we haven't seen in a while. He's my choice over Tee. I think Tee needs a little experience as a head coach before he is given the job here. IMO

First post, been watching from the sidelines for a while. Very entertaining forum....

With that, it was so refreshing to hear confidence again in the VOLS from a VFL and someone that bleeds orange.

Hmmm. It took me back to when Fulmer won eight in a row vs Bama.

Same here. I've not had that feeling about TN football in a long time.
