Always a bridesmaid - Never the Bride!

I find the 'Who we gonna get' crowd to be hilarious. I guess Florida fans....Houston fans...Ole Miss fans...Auburn fans...KY fans after their savior left.....And don't forget Duke when their Almighty decided to retire all said. But who we gonna get?!!

Bow have things gone for Texas since they got rid of Barnes?

to be perfectly honest, I'm actually less interested in "who we gon get when Barnes finally hangs it up?" and more interested in "how much NIL money are we going to allocate to men's hoops, and will it be enough to buy a championship roster?", because at this point, that's the bigger question
The key will be how much we spend on basketball in relation to football. To spend more on basketball could cost us on football.

Tennessee will break through one year as long as Danny White continues to invest in the basketball program, regardless of whether Rick Barnes or someone else is at the helm. It sucks because I think the 2018-19 team was the best shot of winning it all in terms of talent relative to other teams, last year's squad was great but UConn was just on another level and the Final Four this year contains four of the seven best statistical teams ever, but as long as you keep making the tournament with at least a decent team they're bound to eventually find a few upsets and make it to the promised land.

Yesterday would have been the first upset had we won. I'm not sure the last time 4 no. 1 seeds all made it to the FF

Then you keep trying to you find one. Maybe sorry leadership has caused it. Like Tennessee wandered in the wilderness due to sorry leadership for years. Not that way now and hopefully stays that way.

Bruh we weren’t the bridesmaid today.

We was the nasty hooker at that bachelor party.

We got used and abused.

No, are one of five bridesmaids honored to be at the wedding just behind the maid of honor who is just behind the bride.

Those that jump out of cakes are not invited to the ceremony, but sometimes show up to display their intellect, OH JOY!

I agree. I think in one sense we were fortunate to get Kentucky in the sweet 16 because we were familiar with them, they are not a great team this year - good but not great, and we were super motivated to beat our hated rival. Our guys poured it all out to get that win . . . And maybe ran out of gas?? Or maybe it was simply Houston is that good.
Houston was either very beatable from not being very impressive until the final few mins - or they gave it 80% knowing it didnt really matter cuz UT was so terrible and then when they got it to 10 turned it on to put it away.
Sadly, we'll never know (unless they beat Duke, I guess).

Anyone who thinks that any school is going to fire a coach after two straight trips to the Elite Eight is deranged beyond help. Even Duke or UNC wouldn’t do something that ridiculous. Kentucky might, but they have a unique level of stupidity.

And even more ridiculous at UT, where those trips were only the second and third in school history.

It is mind boggling that some are even having those thoughts and expressing them on here.

Uh duh, because Barnes doesn't have one in Knox. Not real bright are you? Golden is 39 years old and already has as many FFs as Barnes who is 70. Oats is 50 and has as many as Barnes.

You’re either first or you’re not and you finish with a loss just like everyone else.

And it is very hard to finish first in the entire country in any sport.

And you can stop with your “real bright” crap. I’ll put my engineering and law degrees and retiring at age 48 up against any brilliance you have to offer. Amazing how people pop off with that stupidity without even knowing who they are spouting off to.

Oh wow, an ambulance chaser, just what we need! Go get a rapist freed. So there is no difference in a FF and finishing 10th in the SEC? WOW

Thats funny right after bragging about 2 straight EEs, and deservedly so, you tell us anything not first is irrelevant?

Neither has a championship yet, although I think Golden might get one this year. Still rather have Barnes than either one of them

How are this year's F4 teams' defenses ranked?
The BETTER question is where are the offenses ranked, compared to ours? Duke #3, UF #9, Aub #12, UH (tied with us) #164. If Houston wins it all; which I hope they do, I will stand corrected.

I'm certainly not all knowing of anything, but I do know you only show up after a loss
