Please stop about this. We dont fumble with Hurd. Especially the mesh miscue. However, Kelly is a beast and shows a much quicker bursts than Hurd imo. They all are good and I'm glad we have this problem.

It's common knowledge Hurd has been a baby and complained about the offense, and has even threatened to leave the team. been going on for a couple of years.

He wouldn't get the splash plays Alvin got. Hurd has never had a performance close to what Alvin just put up. He would've had a nice game. That's it.

And Kamara couldn't get the 1st down to ice it against GA.. Look all I'm try to say is that against a physical D Hurd is the better option. Kamara and Kelly are outstanding changes of pace though.

I hope it's just the uncle's view but it turns out he also posted that Hurd considered leaving after last season.

The attitude is very negative and selfish. I am a big Hurd fan but I hope he isn't playing with this mindset. It's spoiled and bad for the team. JMO

Working hard for your team and yourself is a good mindset. Acting like you're doing everyone a favor is selfish. I also think that if he isn't complaining then everyone needs to get behind him and support his efforts.

I'm thrilled with quickness and burst we saw today but be real Hurd is a damn vfl that wins games for us...I agree a good problem

Please stop. I hope his so called uncle is reading this crap. It is his fault we say Hurd is whiny. So Travis Stephens this is for you for defending his uncle and legitimizing 74. Because of his uncle, stupids in the fan base blame Hurd for being a bad seed even though there is no proof Hurd wanted to transfer or hated the offense. We are not mad at Hurd, he is blamed from guilty by association. But, Vol34 and others keep defending 74 and let Hurd keep getting thrown under the bus by his loving family.
I posted this in another thread, but I feel it truly hits nail on head.

I didn't say I was against Hurd. I said I hope it's just his uncle. I thought that was clear. Personally I wish he would just stop posting this drama and changing everyone's view of a really good ball player.

I was 100% behind Hurd until his uncle started with this drama. Now I really don't know what to think!

Yeah, i didnt mean you were against him. I'm saying our negativity is bc of effing 74. People like Stephens backing him makes it worse.

Hurd was never a good fit for what we do in offense. Say what you will and I'm sorry he chose to play here. He would be a beast at somewhere like arkansas or Stanford but the simple truth is we need smaller more ellusive backs to play in a read option scheme. Yes he will come back and will run for 2 or 3 yards up the middle here and there and catch the random wheel route but he isn't our go to "Travis Henry" type back that can really break the game open.
